Budget Blinds franchisees are often very involved in their local communities. Today we’d like to put a spotlight on Susan Cannon, Owner of Budget Blinds serving Southwest Lubbock, Texas, and her participation in the 2014 Parade of Homes!
Every year, the West Texas Home Builders Association puts on the Parade of Homes which features area builders and manufacturers showcasing their craftsmanship and innovative décor ideas in custom-made homes. Thousands of local residents come out to tour the homes during the parade and proceeds from ticket sales are donated to local charities.
For the last 9 years, Susan Cannon and the team at Budget Blinds serving Southwest Lubbock have taken part in the Parade of Homes and the tradition will continue in 2014! Taking place June 14th through the 29th, Budget Blinds will be featured in 6 homes. The products on display will include eco-friendly woven wood shades, coastal distressed blinds, and kid-friendly cordless cellular shades. Lubbock residents will also be introduced to Budget Blinds’ Inspired Drapes® line of fashionable curtains and draperies!
“It’s always a great experience taking part in the Parade of Homes because we help design beautiful homes that both inspire and educate,” said Susan Cannon, Owner of Budget Blinds serving Southwest Lubbock. “Our participation has grown over the years from a few featured products, to installing an entire houseful of window coverings for several builders!”
Because of her keen eye for creative design, Susan was featured in the 2014 Budget Blinds Design Guide. The Design Guide provides great tips and guidance to help homeowners beautify their homes using a variety of window coverings. Susan’s involvement in the 2014 Parade of Homes serves as further testament to her capabilities as an interior designer and window treatment expert!
We wish Susan Cannon and team the best of luck at the 2014 Parade of Homes and we are confident the Budget Blinds window coverings on display will help inspire all attendees!
