From the producers of the award-winning home decorating and remodeling show, Designing Spaces airing on Lifetime Television, comes a very special mini-series dedicated to giving back to members of our Military. Enlisting the help of decorators, designers, landscapers and home renovation experts, TV host, retired United States Marine Corps Staff Sergeant R. Lee Ermey “The Gunny”, helps transform the homes – and the lives – of military families across the country. Budget Blinds partnered with Military Makeover for 4 episodes in 2016. Watch our segments in the video gallery at right, or read more about our latest episode.
Buying and Selling follows HGTV’s Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, as they help homeowners sell their current home and buy a new property that better fits their needs. Budget Blinds has teamed up with Buying and Selling for several seasons to supply and install custom blinds and draperies as part of the home renovations to attract buyers for a quick sell. Our latest design project with the Property Brothers was a very personal project. The Property Brothers at Home showcased a new home where Jonathan and Drew turned what they described as an “outdated décor, empty and blank [house] with a barren backyard” into an oasis. Our very own Travis Ogburn of Budget Blinds serving Las Vegas worked with the brothers to get the perfect roman shades ordered and installed. Click here to read more.
Budget Blinds partnered with Designing Spaces airing on Lifetime Television in 2013 for 3 episodes of the signature home improvement series that travels across the country refining and redesigning space. Watch our segments (in the gallery at right) as we provide and install cordless child-friendly solar shades in the home of a Florida family in need, graphic shades in a Boys & Girls Club, and eco-friendly window coverings in an eco-conscious home in Seattle.
The Marc & Mandy Show with co-hosts Marc Atiyolil, editor-in-chief of the national home décor publication of the Canadian Home Trends Magazine, and Mandy MacLaren, Lifestyle Editor of Canadian Home Trends Magazine, provide simple yet trendy tips for the everyday homeowner. The show engages viewers to better their lives while discussing relevant topics such as home décor, food, entertainment, celebrities and lifestyle interests, including Budget Blinds window coverings. Watch our segments in the gallery at right, or read more here about our latest appearance.
W Network’s Love It or List It reality show features families struggling within living spaces that no longer fit their needs. TV’s longest running home improvement series, PBS’s This Old House, celebrated its 35th anniversary this year and we were there! Style Consultant, Janet Rose of Budget Blinds serving Waltham, Westwood and Dover-Sherborn, Massachusetts, worked to help the homeowner featured in the anniversary series, Angela, choose a combination of light-filtering cellular shades and motorized woven wood roman shades, handcrafted from reeds, grasses and natural woods, for the final touches of elegance and utility that she desired.
